Police from Lalpur Police Station have recovered the hanging body of a young man named Nazmul Hossain (30) from a mango tree in an orchard belonging to a certain Ashraf Uddin Master in the Mordah area of Arbhab Union, Lalpur Upazila, Natore. The body was discovered near a bridge between the villages of Raghunathpur and Bahadurpur on Thursday morning (August 29, 2024). The deceased was identified as the son of Panchu Mia from the same village.
According to locals, the body was first noticed by farmers on their way to work in the morning, hanging from a mango tree in the orchard. They immediately informed the police, who then arrived at the scene and recovered the body.
Lalpur Police Station's Investigation Officer Rafiqul Islam informed reporters that the body has been brought to the station and will be sent to the morgue for an autopsy.
